Any of these manifestations could be caused by paranormal activity, but there could also be a rational scientific explanation for whatever is believed to have been observed. Each of these different types of manifestations will be covered later separately and discussed in depth.

TYPES OF GHOSTS

ANGELS

Angels are considered by religious individuals to be positive energy entities that are in the service of and doing the bidding of God. These paranormal entities are typically believed in by a wide variety of religious practitioners, and in most cases, they are considered to represent the theological concept of good. Angels are considered by most occupants and investigators to be nonthreatening and represent no cause for concern.

APPARITION

An apparition is the unexplained sudden physical appearance of what seems to be a deceased person or animal or a portion thereof. These apparitions are typically dark, translucent and materialize as a shadow, a full body apparition or, more commonly, as a smaller portion of a human or animal body. Apparitions have been found to be nonthreatening entities but may be disconcerting to the observer.
